Doreen Bliss - Douglas Middle School
Ms. Doreen Bliss exemplifies a life-long learner. After 33 years as a paraprofessional she continues to grow professionally while continually redefining her responsibilities at Douglas Middle School. In addition to assisting students in the Media Center, she has evolved into the resident computer software expert at the middle school. Ms. Bliss works summers and afternoons to help struggling students. On Monday through Thursday you can find Ms. Bliss working with students as a member of our Extra Bases staff. Her time and effort enables many students to be successful. Ms. Bliss is an excellent employee. Her commitment, professionalism, and desire for acquiring new skills make her truly unique.
