Converse County School District 1 is pleased to offer the Club Invention program at Douglas Intermediate School to children grades K through six. This exciting two-day summer experience immerses children in imaginative play that reinforces and supplements school-year learning through inquiry-based activities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Each day, children rotate through three integrated modules that require creative thinking to solve real-world challenges. Working together, children learn vital 21st century life skills such as problem solving and teamwork through hands-on learning… disguised as fun!

D.P.S. Joins My School Alerts |
CCSD#1 and D.P.S., in an effort to keep students, parents, and the community informed, will be using the My School Alerts text messaging system. We now have the ability, using text messaging, email, and voice messaging, to send information to groups. The system is set up for four groups: Students, Teachers, School Staff, and Parents. Interested persons can subscribe to any of these groups for each of our four in-town schools.
